This is a short game with only three endings which I wrote in under 4 weeks. It's actually the second game I wrote for this contest, the first game with more endings, characters, paths, decisions, etc is on an SSD turned paperweight. The SSD died when I was two scenes short of uploading for beta testing. If I ever get my BIOS to recognise the drive again I'll upload it, it has a different setting because I didn't have the heart to recreate it a second time.

The cottage is immaculate. If it wasn't the only cottage in the forrest I might have thought we'd gone to the wrong place. <<hName>> has even cooked food which means the cottage also smells good. Maybe we shouldn't be in such a hurry to get rid of her.

Instead I have to watch <<hName>> and <<boyName>> be flirty around each other and make happy faces and I'm not allowed to stab either of them in the leg with a fork. <<gName>> makes this clear to me when she catches me sliding a fork under the table whilst we're eating. She does this by stabbing me in the leg with a fork.

After lunch <<gName>> tells <<hName>> that we'll clean up so she and <<boyName>> can spend some time together in the garden. <<gName>> tells me we're staying inside, she doesn't ask. I'm furious that <<gName>> is ordering me around my own home, I'm also more turned on than I've every been.

Eventually <<hName>> and <<boyName>> come back inside. <<hName>> tells us that <<boyName>> has asked her to live with him in the camp, if <<bossName>> lets them. He doesn't earn much, but between them they'll get by until they have enough to move back into the town. It's sickening. Looking at me, <<gName>> tells them that she's sure <<bossName>> will welcome them and that she expects <<boyName>> will get a payrise and a bonus to help out.

I sigh, I know I'll do whatever <<gName>> says. She tells <<hName>> and <<boyName>> they can have the cottage to themselves tonight, we'll go talk to <<bossName>> and in <<boyName>>'s cabin tonight. It's small and dingy and I'll sleep on the floor tonight so <<gName>> can have the bed, if she tells me to. Part of me is hoping she does.
