You are in prison for a crime you were framed for 5 years ago. You are offered to be let out early if you participate in an experiment. There's this guy who has the ability to control the mind of whomever he wants. The police are hoping that if they use this new device they can switch your bodies, which would make him powerless. It doesn't work, you get into his body and your old one goes limp and is brain dead. They let you go with the promise that your crimes are forgiven and to come back in a month so they can fix the machine and change you back. That night you are visited in your dreams by the guy you switched with. You make a deal with him, he helps you get revenge on your 5 bullies who got you wrongfully arrested, and in return you follow through with the procedure to change back in a month so he can get back in his body and regain all his power. His powers are limited right now and he can only use them while the person is asleep and dreaming. You befriend each of your bullies enough to meet their mothers. Once that happens, you can get into their heads at night. Each night you have the choice for which mother's brain you want to infiltrate. Once you're in their brain, the guy tells you what supplies he'll need to rewire it. You then leave the brain and bring back all the supplies you need. This repeats like 3 times for each woman, with a different challenge each time you go into their brain. At the end their brain is fully rewired and when you see them in person again, you can fuck them. He comes up with the transformation and tells you what to get before you go in to transform them.

They all agree it's time to do 'the thing', meanwhile you're stuck with no idea as to what they're talking about. You keep asking, but the only response you get is, "We'll explain when we get there." Finally, you get there. The 'there' being a jewelry store. They take you to the back of the store and move a huge box hiding an entrance into the store. <h2>Prologue</h2> "Don't worry, it's my uncle's shop. He lets us come in here all the time." Says Edward. Was it stupid to not question why five thirteen year old boys would frequent a jewlery store? Yes, but in hindsight, you were just happy to make some friends. The six of you load up on necklaces, rings, gemstones, and watches and head for the hole, but on your way back, Basilio knocks over a display case and the alarms go off. You begin to make your way through the hole but feel your legs being pulled back, "Me first." Says Cameron. Once he's through, you try again, only to have Basilio push you away and climb through. After the other three boys do the same, you're the last to leave. Only when you go to leave, the box is pushed back over the hole, trapping you inside! [[Uh oh.]]

<h2>Prologue</h2> The police kick the door down and you are arrested. You're interrogated for hours and eventually crack, revealing everything that happened. Months of investigations go by, but the boys are never charged. It seems five people saying one thing out weighs one person saying the opposite. You're tried, and sentenced to ten years in jail. Your parents gave up on you, after hearing you've apparently turned to a life of crime, they gave you over to the state. [[Five years later...]]

You've spent five years behind bars, but that's all about to change. While in the process of transferring you to a new prison after you turned eighteen, you were offered a deal. If you participate in an experiment, the rest of your time will be forfeited and you'll be set free, rather than transferred. You figure it can't be worse than five more years and accept. The guards bring you down a long hallway and into a room at the end. In the room you see two chairs, each with a strange helmet above them, and both helmets connected to a complicated machine you have no hope of understanding. Some scientists chatter behind a glass wall, but you can't understand what they're saying. You hear a countdown. 3 2 [[1]]

The lights begin to dim, whatever this machine is, it's using a lot of power. Too much power in fact. The lights go out, and you fall unconscious. Upon waking up, things look different. Things feel different. You look around, the glass wall is on your other side. You look down, you're not in your own body anymore. You start to panic, the scientists come out from behind the glass wall and calm you down. They explain the situation to you. You've swapped bodies with a criminal named Adam Gray. He possesses the power to control the minds of whoever he wants. In an attempt to remove his powers, this machine was created to transfer his mind into the body of someone else. It seems that during the transfer, the prison suffered a power outage and as a result, you transfered, while your old body became brain dead. A deal is a deal though, and you are set free. You're told the machine will be fixed in a month so you should come back then to switch back. Until then, you're stuck in the body of Adam Gray. [[Leave the prison.]]

You put no time to waste. First, you enroll in your first, and last year of highschool. After that, you find a place to live. It's a small studio apartment, but it's plenty of room for just one person. The prison even donates some furniture to you. Sweet! With school and shelter taken care of, you start looking for a job. This you don't have as much luck with. It just seems like no one is hiring! The prison also gave you some money to get your life started with, so rent, tuition, food, and clothes aren't an issue. You even have some spare money left over, though not much. You've been house hunting, school hunting, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, and probably even more that you've blocked out. When night comes, you're dead tired and crawl into bed, ready to start your new, free life. [[You dream.]]

<h2>Prologue</h2> You are Harper Cross, a thirteen year old who just moved to Lilac City with her parents. It's been rough adjusting to the new city, especially the new school. It's been two weeks and no one's even talked to you yet. You get a few awkward glances, but aside from the teacher making people work with you in group projects, you've been on your own. Until now. Five of the boys in your class, have invited you to hang out after school, awesome! You've just made five friends! Edward Todd, Max Hayward, Cameron Law, Noah Barnes, and Basilio Marino. After school ends, you all head down to Cameron's house. [[Hang out with the boys.]]

Here's the short version: You are Harper Cross. When you were 13 you moved to Lilac City and were tricked into robbing a jewelry store by 5 boys in your class, Edward Todd, Max Hayward, Cameron Law, Noah Barnes, and Basilio Marino. They manage to escape jail time, but you are sentenced to 10 years in prison. When you turn 18 you participate in an experiment in exchange for getting out of prison early. You swap bodies with criminal Adam Gray, someone your age who has the power to control people's minds. The experiment was supposed to remove his powers, but something goes wrong and you transfer into his body while your old one goes brain dead with him trapped inside. You are told it will take one month to fix the machine, and leave the prison to live your life until you can change back. You leave prison and enroll in the local highschool, get an apartment, and a job. After your first night you are visited by Adam in your dreams. The transfer only weakened his powers, he makes a deal with you. He'll help you get revenge on the boys that got you arrested if you swap back once the month is over. "It's their brain, so I can rewire it to do whatever you want. I can make them forget all their school work, break up with their girlfriends, make them gay, or just hate breathing so they drop dead. "Great!" Adam stands up and the furniture disappears, "Here's what I need you to do." "Get close to them. Our minds are linked so the stronger you bond with them, the stronger my bond with them. You get off the bus and walk to first period, chemistry. It's a small school and with only a handful of science courses offered, chances are at least one of them is in this class. The teacher instructs you to sit wherever you want, there are no assigned seatings so you're open to whatever spot you can find. You decide to play it cool. You'll buy some time and pretend to check your phone until one of them walks in and sits down. A few minutes go by, class is almost starting and none of them are here. Noah is caught off guard, but then starts to chuckle, "Heh heh, what did you just say?" Hook, line, and sinker, he totally took the bait. You snap back with another witty response, and before long you're all buddy buddy. The rest of the period is much of the same. You chat it up with Noah until the period ends. Soon, the bell rings and it's time for second period, "Hey, I'll see you at lunch, K?" [[Go to second period.]]

Noah looks down at you, then looks around the classroom to see if anyone is catching this. He starts to chuckle, "Heh heh, the fuck?" "Alright, you chill there. See you in an hour." You lay down for the whole lecture. You had nothing better to do in prison, so you studied, and studied, and studied. The stuff you're going over here is the most basic of basics to you. It's so boring in fact, you actually fall asleep. An hour later, the class ends. You sleep straight through second period and wake up halfway through lunch. It seems Noah didn't wake you up, the bastard. Hopefully that display was enough to slightly earn his favour, better go find him. [[Head down to the cafeteria.]]

You walk in and look around, the school may be on the small side, but the cafeteria is packed. You're having trouble finding him, until a voice calls out, "That's him!" Noah is pointing you out to the rest of them, this seems like as good a time as any to introduce yourself. You walk over to the table and Noah starts raving about you, "I'm telling you, this guy just walks up to me and drops down onto the desk, completely asleep." After a pleasant introduction, they pull up a chair for you to sit down on. They ask you the usual really boring questions, but when you reveal you just got out of prison, they're much more interested in you. More time goes by with question after question being thrown at you. It only took one day for you to accomplish your mission you had a month to finish. Now that's nice timing. The stuff you're going over here is the most basic of basics to you. It seems you over-estimated the five of them and their intelligence. None of them have calculus with you. But Noah said you'd chat more at lunch so you push through the boredom of second period and make it to lunch. You walk into the cafeteria and look around, Noah should be here somewhere. You feel a tap on your shoulder, it's Noah, "Hey, here, come have lunch with me and my friends." He guides you over to a table full of freshmen. Noah pulls the chair out from the smallest freshman and he falls to the floor, "Scram, this is our table." The freshmen quickly pack up their lunches and move to a new spot. Lunch comes to an end. You go to third and fourth period, but none of the boys are in your other classes. School ends, with nothing else to do, you continue your job hunt. Twenty minutes later, you got the job! If only it was that easy in real life. After training takes up the rest of your day, you go home to your apartment. Every time you do one of the actions listed below, the time will progress to the next time period. The game is meant to be cryptic at times. It won't always be obvious where you can find the item you're looking for. The game doesn't hold your hand at all. It's possible to hard-lock the game if you don't complete an objective in time, or do things in the wrong order. Use your time wisely, you only have a month. After that, Adam will refuse to help you and however many bullies you got revenge on is your final score. If you're having trouble figuring out what to do next, there is a hint system you can use. At the grocery store in the mall, you can buy a fortune cookie for $50. In the morning, you'll be prompted to eat one. If you do, you'll get a hint as to what to do next.
